Since we moved in here a couple months ago, we noticed that the home across the street from us always had huge amounts of people come every Wednesday evening at like 9:30-10:00 and stay until late night/early morning. We've been wondering and wondering what they're doing, hypothisizing all sorts of crazy things, and we finally found out. We really couldn't figure it out, coming so late you'd think they'd be partying, but we never heard anything except every once and a while the cars all leaving. So tonight, Jeff was taking out the garbage and recycling and we noticed that a couple of people were pulling up so I made him ask them what was going down. We were a little nervous because in Texas we actually had drug dealers living next to us that we had to get evicted (we didn't feel too safe, especially with a brand new baby around). Anyways, it turns out they're having a late night bible study and prayer time for the neighborhood. Who would've thought. We're just a little thankful that we're not going to have to cast demons out of their place or anything crazy like that. It's actually really nice to know there's other Christians in the neighborhood. (Yup, I guess I'm turning American, no more "u" in neighborhood) Jeff did mention he's a Worship Pastor, so it'll be interesting to see if anything comes out of it. It also means that Jeff probably won't be going over and ripping them off for continually backing into our mailbox.
Pray for Sydney and Me
Please keep Sydney and Me in your prayers. She's getting sicker and I'm getting more tired and frustrated. I can only handle cleaning so much of the snot off my furniture. We're hoping she's going to do better tonight and tomorrow but all prayers for her health and my sanity would be great.

Hey Char,
I'll definately keep praying for ya and Sydney. I know how frustrating it is when your baby's sick and there's nothing you can do about it.
Just realize and understand that it will always seem to be worst about 3-4am in the morning.
It sucks, but just when you think she's so sick that you need to take her to emerg - then she'll start to get better. But not usually until you've actually booked in and then you'll have to sit around for 10 hours, and then when the doc gets to see you....He'll look at you like you're a total goof because, "What are you doing here with that completely healthy baby?" Just tell him that she was on deaths door when you showed up 14 hours ago, and then you can go home. It's a surefire remedy for anytime she's sick.
Hi there - you poor things - so sorry to hear poor Sydney's so sick, and feel for you. I used to find that some sort of balm or kid's vapo rub on the chest helped loosen things up (and the fumes up to the nose help with breathing too), or one of those things electric little gadgets that give off vapo fumes in the room while she sleeps, or something like that.
Our doctor used to tell us if ithe mucous is really yellowish or worse, greenish tinged, then it likely needs medical help (if that's any help!) Though a mother's instincts are usually right either way.
I also read somewhere that milk is mucous-making, so when they're really mucky-nosed, going with some tea or apple juice instead for a while can help some.
Wish we were there to help you both - thinking of you both and loving you lots, Lee
