Fun In Bed...

Calm down, it's not nearly as dirty as you think. Just think about it for a minute and you'll realize there's none of that going on with everyone being so sick. I can't even remember the last time I kissed Jeff on the lips because we're afraid of getting each other sick or sicker (is that or word?) Anyways, the kind of fun I'm talking about is Sydney playing on our bed. It's probably one of her favorite things (I say probably because it's a little hard to get a straight answer back from someone who you're not even sure if they totally understand their name and Mama and Dada) to do. Any time that she starts getting bored and whinny we take her onto the bed and play around on the pillows, playing hide-and-seek under the sheets and tickling and bouncing her on the bed. She loves it! No matter what mood she's in she starts laughing and having huge smiles all over the place. Rolling around on the blankets is also a favorite thing of hers. Every time I make the bed she crawls straight over to the blankets and rolls around smiling. Anyways, today Jeff was napping (he came home early because he couldn't do anything or concentrate at work) and Sydney and I came in and played with him. She had some much fun, and so did we. Hurricane Updates...

At the present time we're still waiting and watching. We're going through the motions and getting ready for the possibility of it coming through here. We're completely prepared (I think) but aren't too worried about everything. The city has closed all public city buildings for the weekend, so that includes the school that our church meets in. Which in turn means that we won't be able to have our service this Sunday. It's selfishly a good thing with Jeff being so sick (he's gonna have a super hard time singing for the next couple days) and I was supposed to be in the nursery, which I wouldn't have been able to do because I'm still sick and so is Sydney. It's sad. Our first weekend off in who knows how long and we're all sick. I guess that's life. Or, if you're Jeff, it just proves that the world does revolve around him.
